In 2015-16 Maharashtra state faced one of its biggest water crises in recent decades. And L&T's Powai campus rose to the occasion. Comprising Heavy Engineering workshops, world-class design and R&D labs, a Technology Centre, a world-class Business Park and offices of various businesses of the Group, there was plenty of scope for water conservation at Powai. L&T's efforts and initiatives resulted in a significant level of water conservation.
