Human Rights
In May 2009, Mahindra released a human rights policy to guide economic decision making. The same is being integrated in our system. Some of our operations have begun to incorporate human rights clauses in investment agreements.
Young children, especially those from a poor background, tend to be weak and vulnerable to exploitation. At Mahindra, discrimination, child labour and forced labour is completely unacceptable. We do not employ any child labour and have made it mandatory to submit a proof of age at the time of recruitment.
We have an active Grievance Cell to address any such issues. During the year
no instance of grievance was reported.
