  In step with our commitment to encourage unity in diversity, the Biologics department shifted to a new workplace, which resonates with our thrust on ‘one team' culture.
 
The core purpose of the redesign was to
reflect reorganisation of work structure
emphasise the non-hierarchical nature and open-door intent of top management
 
promote respect for individual space, equality and aid in productivity
optimum utilisation of resources
     
Highlights of the new workplace include
No cabins, uniform workspaces
for all,
Dedicated telephone booths in each wing to ensure privacy and restrict noise
Silent zone in work areas
Designated areas for discussions and interactions
 
Separate formal and informal meeting rooms
Maximum use of glass to give a sense of openness
Common utilities room for printers, fax and stationary
Colorful fabric backgrounds in meeting rooms that can be changed to reflect the ambience
   
  The members of Biologics department now enjoy working in a rejuvenated work environment which is a perfect amalgam of style & substance. Its unique space allocation concept that confers uniform workspaces for all employees has helped raise the team spirit. Also there are no cabins that boast of a hierarchical authority.
