Our Code of Business Ethics (COBE) permeates throughout the organisation and applies to all its directors, officers and employees, regardless of their position, business affiliation or location. COBE lays down the principles that guides our conduct and explains how we can practically apply them in our jobs and in our relationships with others - our customers, colleagues, shareholders, the authorities, other stakeholders and the media.

In order to build awareness about the Ombudsperson procedure, employees of
Dr. Reddy's undergo a COBE Evaluation assessment on the intranet portal. Processes are in place for assessment in India, USA, UK, Russia, Mexico, Germany and will soon be formalised in other countries where we operate.

An Ombudsperson Procedure has also been made under this Code, which (i) describes the ombudsperson framework (ii) takes into account procedures for investigation and communication of any report on any violation or suspected violation of the Code (iii) accepts appeal against any decision taken by Ombudsperson and (iv) encourages the submission of complaints against any retaliatory action against any employee.

An Independent Director has been appointed as Ombudsperson, and the reports and complaints submitted to the Company are reported to the Audit Committee.

Both, the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics as well as Ombudsperson Procedure have been posted on the 'Company's website'.
