Sustainability Mapping
To get a holistic view of sustainability as a concept and to assess the extent to which sustainability has become a Company-wide phenomenon, employees' feedback was sought in the sustainability reporting cycle.

Organisational Climate Survey
Every two years, we conduct an Organizational Climate Survey across all locations of Dr. Reddy's. The feedback is taken seriously and necessary action plan is charted out for each business or unit. Recently we concluded a Gallup Survey for the organization where the response was about 83%. We are currently analyzing its results.

Top Management Interviews
In the reporting year, we engaged an external agency to conduct in-depth interviews of over 30 key personnel across various functions and geographies.
Key Observations
The interviews revealed the organisation's emphasis on driving sustainability across their own function by improving processes and encouraging innovation among individuals, teams and functions. They also expressed that the efforts undertaken, over the years, to infuse sustainability into Dr. Reddy's are yielding positive results with the significance of sustainability being spread across all the employees.
The interviewees strongly felt that Dr Reddy's, being in the business of pharmaceuticals, contributes to society by the very nature of its operations. Consequently, each felt that they too were doing their bit for society while working for Dr. Reddy's.
The common goal was one - reaching beyond by reaching out to millions in India deprived of medicines.
Beyond healthcare, strategic social interventions such as LABS, Naandi, DRF, Power of TenTM and Sparsh were top of mind. Also significant to the organisation was zero liquid discharge, health awareness, leadership development, employee safety, Quality by Design.
Focus was also on making the supply chain more efficient, more eco-friendly and therefore more sustainable. Interviewees also pointed out the importance of energy and water conservation, safety training, induction for freshers, programmes for street children, free supply of medicines, vocational centre for spouses, among other initiatives.
The interviewees realized that to make the people of India healthy, the people of Dr. Reddy's need to healthy. Hence thrust should remain on providing a healthy and supportive work environment. The Company's women-friendly working policies were also noted. Benefits like extended maternity leave, shorter working hours, Parichay referral scheme and in-house crèche facilities were also supported.
