Quality Assurance
Quality assurance is the systematic monitoring and evaluation of the various aspects of a project to ensure that the production process attains the desired standards.

We achieve it through a two-tiered approach:

Development Quality Assurance (DQA) - R&D
Quality during the development phase is assured by the DQA. It ensures that the right product is developed, which is safe, pure and efficacious. It works in tandem with the Regulatory Group (a key part of APEX committee which takes care of product identification and pipeline building) and Strategy Design Group to inject quality comprehensively at the initial stage so that product filings translate into early and smooth approvals.

Quality Assurance (QA) - Commercial
In a commercial function, Quality Assurance guarantees that quality standards are maintained from the production stage to the stage where the product is finally used. A robust quality management system encompasses:
Manufacturing Assurance Engineering Assurance
Analytical Assurance Documentation Assurance

Streamlining Documentation

Batch documentation has been simplified. A centralised digital database has been created for this documentation and access has been granted to all employees. Hard copies are now distributed only to individuals who need to verify the process on the shop floor. The rest refer to the documentation online.
As a result, compliance has been enhanced and is achieved more efficiently. Both the time taken for paper work and the paper work itself, have been greatly reduced. The number of hard copies being given has been reduced by 30%.
