Beyond Orientation
Welcome and induction for new recruits
  Research suggests that good orientation programmes can improve employee retention by 25%, accelerate integration and enhance productivity.
   
  At Dr. Reddy's, employee orientation starts even before they join the organisation. Our campus helpdesk and campus relationship manager keep an open communication channel with the new hire and a multi-point video conferencing is also organised to address any of their queries and concerns.
  Once on the job, it is our responsibility to facilitate a comprehensive induction
for lateral recruits, trainees and summer interns.
 
Induction at Dr. Reddy's is a three-month comprehensive programme hosted at our Leadership Academy . This encompasses various crucial aspects such as need identification, induction training, evaluation tests and feedback. It familiarises new entrants with the norms of our organisation as well those of the pharmaceutical industry. It also serves as a vibrant platform that promotes interaction and bonding with existing team members in the organisation. The induction also comprises a detailed 1-hour Module on sustainability.
 
Trainees from previous years are an integral part of our induction process. They consciously engage with new entrants in the evenings in an informal setting to help allay any doubts and apprehensions.
    By dispelling the apprehensions of new recruits, we are adding value to our employer of choice agenda.
